Wolt is a Helsinki-based technology company that makes it incredibly easy to discover and get the best restaurants, grocery stores and other local shops delivered to you.

The challenge

After establishing itself as the premier restaurant delivery service in the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, Wolt sought to expand its service to include groceries and other products from local shops.

To support the aggressive growth plans, Wolt needed to hire people across multiple countries – fast.

A choice had to be made: hire a truckload more recruiters, outsource to an RPO at huge expense, or use smart technology to deliver scale. As an emerging consumer brand, the solution absolutely had to deliver an outstanding candidate experience in every country – all 23 of them.
